The purpose of the YouTue channel is to be a voice for the diaspora - Refugees, Migrant Workers and Immigrants from all countries. In addition, the intent is to fight racism and xenophobia by illustrating what members of the diaspora have fled from in their countries of birth in the hope that this will lead to more acceptance by the populations in host countries. A secondary purpose of EXILED is that members of the diaspora from the safety of their adopted country can have some positive influence over events in their countries of birth. This can lead to improvements in those countries and a better world overall. We welcome people from every country to join us in our mission. EXILED is a respectful, safe zone for all guests. I also like to say it is 'BS Free'.

While there are diaspora organizations with websites and facebook pages, we are yet to see any of them using Youtube to have the kind of dialogue we are having. See us on YouTube at:
